Everything lives on your phone
Transactions, rules and budgets are stored on-device. iCloud sync, if you turn it on, uses your personal iCloud — we couldn't read it if we wanted to.
Nothing about you reaches us
Tappel downloads public exchange rates from the European Central Bank once a day. If you use Tappel Business, it also fetches NBP rates and exchanges invoices with KSeF: it sends the ones you issue and reads back the ones issued for your company. We run no server that receives your data.
No analytics, no tracking
No analytics SDKs, no advertising identifiers, no crash uploaders. The App Store privacy label says "Data Not Collected" because there is nothing to collect.
No bank credentials, ever
Tappel reads what your own phone already knows about an Apple Pay purchase. Your bank login never enters the picture.

QUESTIONS
The honest answers.
Is Tappel free?
Yes — free to download, and free for tracking, charts, multi-currency and iCloud sync, plus your first two budgets. A one-time Lifetime unlock adds unlimited budgets, subscription radar, widgets, export, trips, family budget and settling up. The personal app has no subscription, and never will.
Where is my data?
On your phone, and in your own iCloud if you enable sync. There is no Tappel server and no account.
Does iCloud sync cost extra?
No. Sync runs through your own iCloud, so your data comes with you to a new iPhone. Tappel can't see any of it.
Can we split shared costs in the family?
Yes. Choose which categories count for the family, and mark any other spend as shared, yours alone, or paid for someone else. Tappel shows who carried what against the split you agreed — equally or in your own shares — and at the end of the month who pays whom; you mark it paid. Part of Lifetime.
What about refunds?
Refunds are handled by Apple through the App Store, like any purchase.
Can I invoice my company from Tappel?
Only if your company is registered in Poland. Tappel Business issues invoices in Polish VAT and works with KSeF, the Polish e-invoicing system. It is sold in the Polish App Store only; everywhere else Tappel is your personal spending tracker.
Is there an Android or web version?
No. Tappel is built deeply into iOS — Shortcuts, the Action Button, widgets — and stays there.
